AWANA
AWANA is a ministry that helps the next generation learn and memorize God’s Word.
The name AWANA is an acronym for
“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”
This phrase comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, which encourages believers to present themselves to God as workers who are not ashamed and who correctly handle the word of truth.
Purpose of AWANA
- The primary goals of the AWANA ministry are: Evangelism and Discipleship: Sharing the Gospel and helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
